Core team project management new format

The Quantum Design System core team has changed its project management format, as may know, so far, we worked through the Agile scrum framework with 2 weeks sprint and public demos at the end of each iteration.

The QDS core team delivering now through the Agile Kanban framework. With this new format, we reprioritize the backlog as often as the users (it means you, dear community) need it to provide real values!

Why we made this change:

We made a project management retrospective, and we found that the scrum framework is no longer adapted to our will to deliver rapidly what is really expected by the users and at the end better support the adoption and deployment of QDS in the Thales entities products.

Basically, we would like to deliver what the users need and as fast as possible.

With scrum the sprint goals are defined at the beginning of the iteration and the team focuses the effort to complete the defined objectives during the iteration.

However, if some users request new needs, fixes, during the iteration we have to wait another sprint to take into account their needs/issues.

Last year we faced many times the situation in which our lack of agility impacted the Thales entities products teams and the conclusion was that 2 weeks sprint duration is too long to be close of the expected daily agility for our users.
